I just concluded a five-show production of my play AN AMERICAN FEAST! Developed with The Civilians in residence at NYU Playwrights Horizons Theater School, the show is an investigative theater piece that marries verbatim interviews of American citizens with the story of one imagined American family grappling with the results of the 2016 election. It was directed by Mia Rovegno and featured music and lyrics by NYU students, Caitlin Cobb-Vialet, Guillermo Contreras, Christen Dekie, and Lucas Friedman.
