I'm a Core Writer at The Playwrights Center!

Hey Folks,

Happy to announce that I've been selected as a 2017-2020 Core Writer at The Playwrights Center! For the next three years I'll get to head out to Minneapolis to workshop my plays with the wonderful folks at PWC, and I couldn't be more excited to meet new collaborators and make some new friends!

Also so very pleased to see that my incoming cohort of Core Writers is ALL WOMEN! Couldn't be any more proud to be in the company of Kim Euell, Allison Gregory, Dipika Guha, Carson Kreitzer, Andrea Stolowitz, and Stefanie Zadravec.

Now, as I often say, ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

Farewell R & D Group!

As of yesterday, my nine months in residence with The Civilians has come to close.  We presented a 70 minute excerpt of my play-in-progress elroy lean his name to a lovely audience, and the reception was enthusiastic and supportive!  

Can't wait for next steps with this play and with the next layer of research into the juvenile justice system in Louisiana.

SPACE on Ryder Farm!

Good news!

I've been selected as 1 of 8 playwrights for the Working Farm Residency at SPACE on Ryder Farm this summer.  So pumped for five weeks upstate with sunshine, some dope artists, and the chance to write a brand new play.

I'm headed to PlayPenn this summer!!

Hi Lovelies,

So my play THIRST was selected for PlayPenn's annual summer conference this year, and I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am!

I'll be headed to Philadelphia from July 11th-30th with an exciting cohort of writers and a director to do some intensive workshopping (while soaking up that Philly sun).

It was produced by the Dennis and Victoria Ross Foundation and directed by the fabulous Danya Taymor. This play truly is the gift that keeps on giving, so I'm always so happy to continue making each draft better!
